Nineteen people met the noon deadline today to apply for the District 4 Mobile County Board of School Commissioner’s seat, which will be vacated by Levon Manzie, when he is sworn in as the new District Two Mobile City Councilperson on Monday, Nov. 4.
The board will interview all of the applicants Nov. 6 and 7. They have tentatively set a special meeting to address the nominations on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at noon.

Douglas Harwell, Jr. (District One) and Don Stringfellow (District Two).

John Thomas Burroughs
Jeffery Ray Jones
Marilyn C. King
T. Ryan McKee
Alberta N. Richardson
