No Shoes Nation will be filling The Amphitheater at The Wharf to spend the evening with an Orange Beach regular. Kenny Chesney will be returning to one of his favorite beachside locales with the Songs for the Saints Tour.
Chesney says that he has “stripped things back a bit” to a relatively intimate concert experience compared to his big, extravagant past live performances. In addition to crowd favorites, Chesney’s set should include cuts from his latest album “Songs for the Saints.” This effort serves as No Shoes Nation’s personal testament. These eleven tracks fall somewhere between country and heartland rock with a slight nod to trop rock.
Chesney will be joined by two special guests. Country artist/songwriter David Lee Murphy will showcase his country repertoire. Murphy was one of the songwriter’s behind Chesney’s hit “Everything’s Going to be Alright.” Singer-songwriter Caroline Jones will be welcoming the crowd to the show. The pop artist is on tour in support of her album “Bare Feet.”
