A man known as “Manpower” on the streets was picked up on a number of drug and weapons charges during a multi-agency police operation in Mobile in the early hours of Tuesday morning.“Manpower’s” legal name is Sylvester Robinon and when the Mobile County Street Enforcement Narcotics Team (MCSENT) conducted a raid at the 38 year old’s residence on Ingleside Drive on Monday, they seized more than a pound crystal methamphetamine, thousands of dollars in cash, two pistols and two vehicles. Also arrested at the scene was 32-year-old Desirae Moffett, who like Robinon, was charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. However, because of a previous conviction, Robinon was also charged for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The raids were said to be part of a two-day MCSENT operation in the area, though the arrests on Ingleside Drive are the only ones the Mobile Police Department have disclosed so far.
