On Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, the Conde Cavaliers paraded through downtown Mobile. A crowd of 84,675 people were in attendance, according to a press release from the Mobile Police Department.
Mobile police responded to a total of 18 complaints during the course of the event. Officers made 12 misdemeanor and zero felony arrests. Of those arrested, five were juveniles.
The charges were as follows:
• 1 adult for Disorderly Conduct
• 1 adult for Public Intoxication
• 1 adult for Furnishing Alcohol to Minors
• 2 adults for Minor in Possession of Alcohol
• 2 adults for Traffic Warrants
• 4 juveniles for Disorderly Conduct
• 1 juvenile for Minor in Possession of Alcohol
Two tickets were issued to adults for crossing a barricade. There were 16 vehicles towed and 24 parking citations were issued.
Parades continue today with the Bayport Parading Society at 2:30 p.m. on Route A and tonight with the Pharaohs, Order of Hebe and Conde Explorers at 6:30 p.m. on Route A.
