Even though Portal Studio has relocated, this collective of local artists continues to bring audio, visual and performance art to LoDa. PsycheQuinox has become the studio’s “quarterly multimedia celebration of the arts.” From performance to visual to projection, Portal Studio will present a number of artistic displays that promise to be both intriguing and eclectic. In addition, Portal will also play host to a number of musicians who are eager to present their sonic creations as attendees peruse local artwork.

Singer-songwriter Leland Clay will be performing his original songs at PsycheQuinox, as will the soulful Cameron Simpson. BayFest veteran Ashelea Penquite will be performing her original work alongside Jordan Kinsey.

Portal’s improv/noise session will be one of the evening’s highlights. This session will consist of what Portal’s Zach DePolo described as “a gathering of musicians, jamming and setting a groove all the way to tearing it apart to expose noisy space.”
