A portion of Scenic Highway 98, just south of Fairhope, will be impassable on Tuesday, June 23 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. in order for a cross drain pipe to be installed to improve drainage.
Motorists are encouraged to use suggested detours to avoid delay. Northbound drivers will be asked to detour using County Road 32 to Section Street, while southbound drivers will take a route diverted to Battles Road.
The closure is not expected to last more than one day.
