[Mobile Fashion Week is] “Fashion With A Cause” and that cause is Camp Rap-A-Hope, an organization for children with cancer. Richard McGill-Hamilton, along with his incredible and dedicated team of volunteers, sponsors and donors, once again honored Camp Rap-A-Hope through this event as their charity of choice. Since 2012, Mobile Fashion Week has worked diligently to bring excitement to downtown Mobile and to the Gulf Coast as a whole, all while raising money to make a difference in the lives of children who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Each year Camp Rap-A-Hope provides “free fun for children with cancer” and for their families by hosting a week-long summer camp, weekend camps, family days, fishing trips and much more. These events are free to the campers and their families and are made possible through events such as Mobile Fashion Week. Our community is one that serves its not-for-profit organizations well and Richard McGill-Hamilton and Mobile Fashion Week are second to none in its efforts for Camp Rap-A-Hope. A heartfelt thank you to everyone that was a part of Mobile Fashion Week. We are grateful.
Executive Director, Camp Rap-A-Hop
