To Rob Holbert:
Thank you for the “Water Lords” story (Cover Story 6/19/14) by Dale Liesch. Very eye-opening with much more content than I ever expected to read about. It’s a scary thought to know that people making decisions for the water and sewer utility might not even know the difference between sewer drains and storm water drains. Really liked the comparison of MAWSS board members making 10 times that of Montgomery waterworks. Guess that is to be expected when commissioners appoint politicians to positions they have no business being in.
It is well researched stories like Lagniappe produces that puts the other reporting outlets to shame. Lagniappe is why I do not visit AL.com anymore.
Kudos to you, Ashley and the rest of the Lagniappe staff.
