When The Revivalists made their Azalea City debut a few years ago, many locals instantly fell in love with this New Orleans band’s soulful rock sound. Mobilians aren’t the only ones grooving to The Revivalists’ fresh sound. The band has spent the past four years touring nationwide and building a larger fan base along the way. The Revivalists return to Mobile headlining this show at O’Daly’s, featuring cuts from their much-anticipated third album, “Men Amongst Mountains.” This album showcases The Revivalists’ sonic versatility. While the band maintains its trademark rock groove throughout, fans will find the group exploring new territory.
Marcus King will lend support with a set filled with blazing guitar work. King has been touring in support of his latest release, “Soul Insight,” and receiving positive feedback from the crowds and the critics alike. This album is filled with new-school Southern rock and blues accented by electrified string-trips, courtesy of King.
Underhill Family Orchestra represents the Azalea City in this line-up. This ensemble has gathered a regional audience with its mix of Americana and indie rock. Fans have been enjoying the band’s debut full-length, “Stories of Appalachia Proper.” While their studio work is impressive, Underhill Family Orchestra is best appreciated live.
