Soul Kitchen is injecting LoDa with a healthy dose of alt. rock from Austin when The Wind & the Wave takes the stage at Soul Kitchen. The act is comprised of Dwight A. Baker and Patricia Lynn Drew. Baker’s background boasts work with Alpha Rev, Brandi Carlile and Blue October. Drew became the sonic darling of the Austin indie rock scene as the front woman of The Soldier Thread. The duo is touring in support of their debut album “From the Wreckage.”
Saints of Valory
The Wind & the Wave has created a versatile sound that ranges from foot-stomping’ tracks like “Mama Said Be Careful Where You Lay Your Head” and modern rock masterpieces such as “It’s a Longer Road to California Than I Thought.”

Saints of Valory’s roots are planted in Rio De Janeiro. The band relocated to Austin and began a rock campaign across the 50 states. Saints of Valory will be bringing fresh cuts from their “V” EP. Their trademark alt. rock anthems shine through on “V” and should be crowd pleasers.
