Rondale & the Kit Katz will be giving Olde Towne Daphne a dose of rock ‘n’ roll straight out of the SoMo bayou. Rondale Overstreet, the band’s namesake, might be considered an enigmatic constant of the local music scene. Along with her sister Dorothy, Overstreet has penned a multitude of songs, many of which can be heard on Shelby Lynn’s album “I Am Shelby Lynn.”

Overstreet also composed the song “Racing,” which can be heard on the soundtrack for the film “Alabama Moon.” Whether performing solo or with the Kit Katz, Overstreet has a rich musical legacy from which to pull in a live setting.

While Overstreet’s repertoire includes many acoustic-based songs, the Kit Katz provide a chance for this artist to show her love for rock ‘n’ roll. She tips her hat to classic rock with the grooving “Creepin’ In.” Overstreet has also mastered the rock ballad with songs like “Turn and Walk Away” and “Beautiful Girl.”
