Shakespeare auditions at Playhouse in the Park

Posted by Kevin Lee | Dec 11, 2013 | Art Gallery | 0 |

If you’ve got an aspiring thespian in the house, now’s the time to get them started on the works of the Immortal Bard. The Spring Show for Playhouse in the Park will be William Shakespeare’s comedic favorite “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Awash in magic, mischief and love, this plucky play has been condensed and reworked for both students and adults alike.

Auditions will be held Jan. 13 and 15 at the Playhouse in Langan Park. All hopefuls should be from age 11 – mid-20s and be prepared to read from a script. School shows and public performance dates in March will be announced.

For further info, go to www.playhouseinthepark.org.

Tryouts for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

Where: Playhouse in the Park (4851 Museum Dr.)
When: Jan. 13 & 15, 6:30 – 8 p.m.
