Police have yet to release the identity of a man who died in a local hospital over the weekend after being shot in Mobile last Wednesday.
According to the Mobile Police Department, officers found a 66-year-old male suffering from single gunshot wound near the intersection of Scott and Palmetto streets in the early evening hours of Nov. 2.
At the time, the victim was still alive and was transported by personnel from Mobile Fire-Rescue to a local hospital to undergo treatment for his injuries.
However, police alerted local media over the weekend that the man — whose identity has yet to be released — died from those injuries on Nov. 6.
