After an extensive search, Kendall Wall has been selected as SMG’s general manager for the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center, Mobile Civic Center and the Mobile Saenger Theater.
Wall has 30 years of experience involving operations and management of public facilities. Most recently, he served as SMG’s General Manager at the Florence Civic Center (South Carolina) for the past 16 years.
Wall’s experience encompasses diversity within the entertainment industry, as well as the convention and tourism entities that have produced strong results in revenue performance, economic development and facility expansion. During his time, the gross revenue at the facility has increased by 300 percent.

Wall is co-founder and past Chairman of the Florence Area Sports Council, member of the Florence CVB and Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Florence County Economic Development and Partnership, as well as a member of IAVM and IFEA associations. He has received national recognition from the industry ranging from the PAFMS-Ticketmaster award to being named multi-winner of the Prime Site Award by Events & Facilities Magazine. He is a graduate of PAFMS (Professional Association of Facility Management School) and Senior Executive Symposium at Cornell University.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Wall holds a master’s degree in Facility Management/Sports Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Administration/Mathematics from the University of Southern Mississippi.
