One of the hardest-working bands in Mobile will be bringing their unique homegrown sounds to the Eastern Shore. The Underhill Family Orchestra has established a reputation for both their electrifying live show and dedication to spreading their sound throughout the nation. While the group’s studio work is impressive, Underhill’s infectious, folk-infused alt-rock reaches new heights in the live setting. The band’s sound is so inspirational that Fairhope Brewing Company once created the Stories of Appalachia Smoked Porter in honor of the band.
Last year, the band released “Tell Me That You Love Me” on the local indie label Skate Mountain Records. This tracklist contained fan favorites such as “Chickasaw Fields” and “When the Trumpet Sounds.” According to movements on social media, fans might be getting the follow-up to this album in the near future. In recent weeks, Underhill has been posting videos from the studio. Their Fairhope Brewing crowd might get an early preview of this upcoming release.
