A narcotics investigation netted the Mobile Police Department two arrests, $9,000 worth of drugs and $1,400 of money.
On Jan. 23 members of the Mobile County Street Enforcement Narcotics Team (MCSENT) ended part of a narcotics investigation into the sale of “Spice” or synthetic marijuana in Mobile.
Due to the investigation, Tarea Kasid, 19 years old, and and Carman Johnson, 22 years old, were arrested and charged with Trafficking Illegal Drugs. Kasid is also charged with Possession of Marijuana Second Degree.
The operation resulted in seizure of over $9,000 worth of Marijuana Analog, $1,400 in currency and a vehicle.
Kasid and Johnson are both out on bail and will appear in court on Jan. 28.
