After the Champagne is finished and 2016 has arrived, many along the Gulf Coast will be entering a period of recuperation, especially since Mardi Gras will soon be here. Even though some of those New Year’s Eve hangovers will be hard, The Frog Pond at Blue Moon Farm’s calm, soothing musical environment may be a great remedy.
For those unfamiliar with this unique venue, The Frog Pond stage has attracted many notable songwriters. The featured artists typically hold a songwriters-in-the-round session that features individual songs as well as collaborative jams.
The first show of 2016 will feature a great lineup of performers. Even though she gained fame through the family band The Cowsills, Susan Cowsill has established a dedicated cult following. Cowsill will be joined by Brian Stoltz (The Funky Meters). Ray Ganucheau and Russ Broussard from The Continental Drifters are also scheduled to perform. As always, Grayson Capps and Corky Hughes will be lending their support.
