Only a day before the backup to the long-running Bayfest Music Festival is scheduled to launch, Ten Sixty Five confirmed the full lineup for the inaugural free, three-day musical experience in Downtown Mobile.
The event is free to the public and will bring in a combination of national, regional and local musical performers.The two stages, the Jake Peavy Foundation Stage at the corner of Dauphin Street and Springhill Ave. and the Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Stage at Cathedral Square, will have the music spread across downtown’s entertainment district with numerous bars and restaurants open for business in between.
Beginning Friday, Oct. 2, at 6 p.m. the Jake Peavy stage will feature performances from Ryan Balthrop and Friends, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the legendary George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic.
Shortly after those shows kick off, the Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Stage will see locals Grayson Capps, Eric Erdman and Kristy Lee & Dirt Road Revival beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, music begins at 4 p.m. on the Jake Peavy Foundation Stage with Peek, StrongFold, Within Reason and Three Days Grace. At 5 p.m., the Wind Creek Stage will feature some local talent from The Perry Wall, Infant Richard & The Delta Stones and Tim’s Holdin’ the Tail.
Finally, on Sunday, Oct. 4, music will begin at the Jake Peavy stage at 2 p.m. with performances from Jamell Richardson, Los Colognes, Wet Willie Feat. Jimmy Hall and Sublime With Rome.
At the same time, the Stereo Dogs, Bates & The Yellowhammers and Derek Norsworthy will be rocking the Wind Creek Stage.
