For 20 years, Cruisin’ the Coast has pulled a multitude of classic car enthusiasts to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This five-day celebration of classic automobiles features an array of gas-powered behemoths covered in bright paint and chrome. The Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is adding to the nostalgic ambiance Cruisin’ the Coast creates, bringing The Beach Boys for two nights of classic rock ‘n’ roll.
While Cruisin’ the Coast is celebrating its 20th anniversary, The Beach Boys will be celebrating 50 years of their classic West Coast surf sounds. This group filled the ‘60s with their fun, beach-themed rock, highlighted by their unmistakable harmonies.
After spending years enjoying the success of tracks such as “Surfin’ U.S.A.,” “I Get Around” and “Good Vibrations,” The Beach Boys experienced a strong resurgence in the ‘80s thanks to the hit single “Kokomo.” Their live performance will be a revue of the band’s 50-year reign as the Big Kahunas of beach rock.
