Gooooooooooood Mooooooorrrrrnnniiing, Mobile! How’s your pandemic going?
I feel a bit like Robin Williams’ character in “Good Morning, Vietnam.” It seems kind of wrong to have “irreverent tendencies” during a crisis, but Boozie’s tendencies lean no other way. So what’s a gossip gal to do?
Plus, people are doing a lot of really weird things during times of corona, so it simply must be discussed. It simply must!
So if you are in the comfort of your own home and no one is within six feet, kick off your shoes, your mask and relax your feet. Pour yourself a stiff quarantini and dive on into these sick beats.
Only on DIP
I have no way to verify if this is actually hanging in a gas station on Dauphin Island Parkway, but that is what I was told and a spy sent in a photo along with this “intel.”
But if true, it seems this store is taking the COVID-19 crisis seriously, as they should, and have enacted a few rules of their own.
They have a sign hanging up that reads, “COVID-19 is SOME REAL SH*T,” followed by some “explicit” guidelines.
Even if this is just some “viral” photo floating around the web and not really on DIP, it’s still pretty funny, so I just had to share.
O’Daly’s daily dose of fun
If you haven’t done so already, make sure to follow O’Daly’s Irish Pub’s Facebook page. They have been having a blast making videos promoting their curbside pickup and delivery. They have had videos spoofing “Tiger King,” “Austin Powers,” “Dumb and Dumber” and “Top Gun,” among others. These videos are a welcome retreat from the misery of COVID-19 and their menu looks pretty dang awesome, too. So make sure to check it out. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us.
Well kids, that’s all I got right now. Please stop discarding your nasty corona masks and gloves all over the place. I swear, they are everywhere now, and I want to murder you people who are doing this! You won’t have to worry about corona!
But in any case, just remember whether rain or shine, dramatic or scandalous or some plain ol’ crazy DIP lovin’, I will be there. Ciao!
