With cooler weather descending upon the Gulf Coast, there is no better time to take in an outdoor concert. The Amphitheater at The Wharf is delivering with an evening of hit sounds from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s with two of the era’s most notable bands.
Little River Band will begin the evening’s entertainment. After a string of number one hits in their native country, this Australian group crossed the oceans and began to win over American fans with songs such as “Cool Change” and “Reminiscing.”
Three Dog Night will be the headliner for this classic rock flashback. This group ruled the radio waves (and still do on some stations) with hits such as “One” and “Mama Told Me Not to Come.” They are prominently known for their timeless party hit “Joy to the World.” The current line-up includes longtime members Danny Hutton, Michael Allsup, Corey Wells and Jimmy Greenspoon.
