Alabama Music Box has quickly reestablished its reputation for providing entertainment seven days a week.
Next Wednesday their “$5 Feature Show” will give locals a chance to witness a three-band lineup on a school night. Before making an appearance at Gonerfest in New Orleans, Arizona indie rockers Lenguas Largas will be making their Alabama Music Box debut. Judging from the band’s latest release, “The Rest of the Enchilada,” this group specializes in a classic blend of garage and glam with a low-end foundation. Fans of the Oh Sees and Meatbodies will find a new favorite.
In addition to Mobile’s Electric Head, fellow Arizonians The Resonars will be lending support. “No Exit” is the latest studio offering from The Resonars. This group has definitely embraced the psychedelic sounds of the ’60s. Each track on this album is a bright delivery of Orange Sunshine and rock ‘n’ roll. The Resonars are sure to create a lasting, electrifying vibe for the crowd.
