The Amphitheater at The Wharf has filled the summer months with some of the hottest country acts on the road. This show, however, will definitely be a step in another musical direction. Before the summer season ends, this beachside venue will feature a mainstream rock explosion that will be felt along the coastline as The Carnival of Madness Tour brings a militia of modern rock to Orange Beach.

Shinedown will be the ringmasters in this rock ‘n’ roll circus. Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, this regular visitor to the Gulf Coast always pulls a large, adrenalized crowd to its stage. Upon the 2015 release of the album “Threat to Survival,” Shinedown dominated the radio waves with its rock anthem “Cut the Cord.” Its high-energy live show tends to leave fans spellbound.

Shinedown will be joined by three rings of rock. Halestorm will be bring a monsoon of tracks from its latest release, “Into the Wild Life.” Since 2008, Black Stone Cherry has topped the U.S. rock charts. When it arrives at The Wharf, the band will be playing hits from its latest album, “Kentucky,” as well as favorites from its repertoire. Whiskey Myers will be traveling from Texas to perform its own brand of Southern rock.
