The Attic at The Blind Mule has summoned forth an evening of dark, raging metal from across the Gulf Coast. Dark Star Coven will be the evening’s headliner. This band pulls together a lineup of seasoned punk and metal musicians from bands such as Parabellum, Before I Hang, Wulfshroud and Guns to Fire. The end result is a hybridized sound mixing punk and doom metal. As a hurricane of metal fury engulfs the crowd, vocalist Shane Reneaux delivers his arsenal of demonic roars and haunting croons with a focus on demonology, religion, social unrest, the end-times and (of course) Satan.
Ex-Bastards will break out a batch of sludge metal from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. No stranger to The Blind Mule, Ex-Bastards will grind through their repertoire of original pieces, which include such hits as “F*ck Unicorns” and “Stove Bowl.” Biloxi’s Killhammer will complete this infernal triumvirate, bringing some intensity to the mix with its Southern-fried thrash.
