Area favorite Train is returning to headline at The Wharf. Before Train takes the stage, Andy Grammer will lend his musical support. In 2011, this singer/songwriter/producer made his major-label debut with his album “Grammer.” The initial single “Keep Your Head Up” pulled in listeners with his bright message, which reflected the song’s bouncing rhythmic flow. Five years later, Grammer is giving the world his sophomore effort, “Magazines or Novels.” Once again he has found success, with a catchy single, “Back Home,” winning over the masses.
Train takes the stage next. Since the ‘90s, this San Francisco rock outfit has been performing for an extremely dedicated fan base. Early songs such as “Meet Virginia” and “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” still enjoy steady rotations on the radio. For its latest album, Train pays tribute to British rock gods Led Zeppelin with “Train Does Led Zeppelin II.” This album includes the band’s take on such songs as “Whole Lotta Love,” “Heartbreaker” and “Living Loving Maid (She’s Just a Woman).”
