Bishop State Community College will host an educational tribute service honoring the late Dr. James Lowe, Jr., president of Bishop State Community College.
The tribute service honoring Lowe will be held Monday, March 9, at 6 p.m. on the Baker – Gaines Central Campus of Bishop State, located on 1365 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue in the Yvonne Kennedy Auditorium.
Bishop State Community College is a state-supported, open-admission, urban community college. It consists of four city campuses, dedicated to serving the residents of Mobile and Washington counties in southwest Alabama. The College is part of the Alabama Community College System, the state-supported network of two-year community, and technical colleges that serves the residents of Alabama.
***NOTE – Media representatives attending the tribute service are requested to direct any questions to David O’Brien. Mr. O’Brien can be reached at 334-293-4604 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The writing press will be seated in the back of the auditorium. Photographers will be placed on the sides of the auditorium floor. No flash equipment may be used during the tribute service in the auditorium.
