Truth and consequences

Posted by Lagniappe | Dec 16, 2015 | Letters to the Editor | 0 |

Thank you for the “no holds barred” article on the District 3 race for County Commission (Damn the Torpedoes, 12/10/15). I feel Margie Wilcox used “dirty politics” at the last minute to win the state legislature position and hasn’t done anything for the county that I have seen. Time to put the brakes on her and send her back to driving taxis! Unfortunately, I am not in that district, but wish I was so I could vote for Jerry Carl.

You touched on the soccer boondoggle with Connie Hudson; she is one that should go also! If Ms. Wilcox wins, this program will fly through all the funding shortfalls and we, the taxpayers, will be stuck with the bill.
