Police have made two arrests since a shooting over the Easter weekend left a man dead at the Turtle Creek Apartments in Mobile.
According to reports from the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to the apartment complex on Lloyds Lane on Saturday, March 26, shortly after 11 p.m.
Upon their arrival, police discovered a gunshot victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.The following day, Terri Grant, a 20-year-old female from Mobile, was interviewed and subsequently charged with murder. Later the same day, a second suspect, 19-year-old Jordan Johnson of Semmes, was also arrested and charged with murder. According to Mobile County jail records, the arrest is the first recorded offense for either suspect, and as of March 28, both were still in custody at the Mobile Metro Jail.
On Monday, police identified the victim as 31-year-old Khaled Al Mashani.
So far, no further information has been released about the victim or a possible motive for the crime, but Public Information Officer Terence Perkins did say, “it’s domestic related.”
