Venue shift for ‘Death in a Tutu’

Posted by Kevin Lee | Jan 8, 2014 | Art Gallery | 0 |

Frequently staged at the Mobile Carnival Museum, this version of Mobile Mystery Dinners crops up in one of LoDa’s most popular eateries for a down-home version of its regular comedic whodunits. They will spend the month on the move as their Jan. 24 production will be held at Via!, 1717 Dauphin St. in Midtown.

The patriarch of the Zapple clan is discovered dead in the privy and sorting through his sizable list of enemies is a daunting task. The dysfunctional family makes detective work difficult and it all culminates in finger-pointing during the sumptuous spread at the elder Zapple’s wake.

Attendees enjoy an unlimited red and white wine bar and a multi-course dinner. Price is $59 per person. Reservations are required. As a bonus, the best detective in the house wins a door prize.

For more info, call 251-479-3212.

Death in a Tutu
