The meeting of water and sky captures many minds in this portion of the world. For a lot of coastal natives, the idea of living without the sight of those elements is anathema and worse than death itself.
Artist Susan Downing-White has adorned the Wooley Gallery with 21 paintings, featuring expansive skies and alluring waterways found within 50 miles of her studio. She will also lead a workshop in oils on April 10 and 11 in which reference photographs, panels for painting, easels and alkyd white paint will be included in the supply fee.
