When Chicago gangster Hal Coppone gets sprung from the Big House, he’s mum to newsboys and looking to settle scores. Instead, Coppone disappears.
In The Everlay Club, a speakeasy near Coppone’s headquarters, word comes in Hal’s reached room temperature and is about $40 million light. Scuttlebutt has it club proprietor Silky M. Adam is in on the action but who else at the dinner table is looking for their share of the action? Is it Joey “The Rattlesnake” Ratello, S. Treighton Harrow or maybe Ernie G. Ambler.
The comedic whodunit includes an unlimited wine bar, a catered dinner and a tour of the museum. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and wine bar begins at 6:45 p.m.
Dress is casual unless you care to wear Jazz Age attire. The event lasts three hours. Cost is $59 per person.
